This was the topic of the 13th World Business Dialogue. It was our goal as student organizers and part of the conventions main idea to challenge the speakers and discuss with them the shape and structure of the world during but especially after the crisis. A world reshaped and restructured according to the conventions slogan “NEW” and not only as just a mere copy or continuation of the current world. In order to capture all of the exciting discussions and contents of the convention, we decided to issue the Dialogue Magazine, which you are holding in your hands right now. It was our motivation as the young generation to talk about our future; to talk about what sustainability really means and to discuss whether we have actually learned the necessary lessons to prevent “something like this crisis” from happening again in the future. We had the opportunity to exchange thoughts about combating poverty with Prof. Muhammad Yunus (Nobel Peace Prize Laureate and Founder of the Grameen Bank) and discuss wealth maintenance in Europe with Prof. Axel Weber (President Federal Bank of Germany). All of these experiences and impressions are documented in this magazine. As Chairmen of the organizational committee it was an honour for us to work together with a team of 40 engaged and thoughtful students in order to complete our mission of arranging the World Business Dialogue. During this project we were confronted with many challenges but most of all granted the unique opportunity to acquire profound insights of the globalized world economy.
