Organisation team the students on the one hand profit from the entrepreneurs’ expertise and experience, and on the other hand inspire the executives with fresh and innovative thoughts. This exchange is already supported during the organisation of the convention: the board of trustees composed of leading scientists and entrepreneurs of the economy, assists the team with the development of its strategy, provide valuable advice and acquires precious contacts for the World Business Dialogue. However, the board does not only support the OFW conceptually and strategically, but also financially: the enterprises represented by the several members of the board of trustees provide a large amount of the funds necessary for establishing the World Business Dialogue. Next to the board of trustees, the OFW team also benefits from an advisory board consisting of former OFW chairmen who contribute to the organisation having already experienced several conventions. Further supporters are the alumni whose large network enables the team to maintain contacts between former and present members of OFW and OSCAR. The consulting subsidiary of the OFW. We have come full circle: the organisation of the World Business Dialogue, a transnational and generation-spanning dialogue, is achieved by the dialogue of experienced entrepreneurs and former members of the OFW with the present organising team. World Business Dialogue means not only realizing the largest student-run business convention worldwide, but to create a dialogue between the generations, cultures and above all between the leaders of today and tomorrow. For more than 25 years now, the World Business Dialogue organizing team has been facing this ambitious challenge. Realizing this international and generation-crossing forum is a very demanding project and requires a lot of extraordinary commitment.
